[TAIPEI, TAIWAN] 5 Night Markets that You Shouldn’t Miss in Taiwan

In our 3 full days in Taipei, here’s my list for the 5-night markets that you shouldn’t miss in Taipei.

  1. Clothing Shopping Outlet in Wufenpu – One of my regrets is not bringing a lot of cash. Whoever wanted to shop a lot of OOTD’s never miss Wufenpu.

Wufenpu Taiwan

  • How to get to Wufenpu:
    • By MRT: Take the Green Line and drop at Songshan Station, exit 3.
      • Walk straight until you cross Songlong Road

  1. Raohe St. Night Market – Right after your shopping spree in Wufenpu, time to fill your hungry bellies.

  • How to get to Raohe St.
    • By MRT: Take the Green Line and drop at Songshan Station, exit 5.
    • You can also walk for few meters from Wufenpu- just a straight walk from the first alley of the shopping outlet (ask the locals if needed).

  1. Shillin Night Market – Fashion & Foods

  • How to get to:
    • By MRT: Take the Red Line 2 to Jiantan Station (劍潭), Exit 1 and diagonally cross the street to the left to enter the night market.
  • A must try: Oyster Omelet. This can be found on the underground restaurant of Shillin.

  • How to get to:
    • By MRT: Take the MRT Red Line 2 to the northern terminus station Tamsui (淡水). Exit the station and turn left, then walk along the waterfront. The trip takes around 40 minutes from Taipei Main Station. [Excerpt from guidetotaipei.com]
