[CEBU] A 3 Days Adventure-Run ​in South Cebu

Travel Date: September 2016

Day 1: Wednesday Afternoon

3PM ETD South Bus Terminal to Moalboal

6PM ETA Basdaku, Moalboal

S’moresing! Since we arrived late at night in Moalboal and it’s on a weekend, there were only few guests at that time. We were able to get a good deal. A room for 6 for P1500 only.

Day 2: Thursday (The schedule was very hectic because we departed Moalboal at 1030AM and we started the Canyoneering late. So if you want to still catch up a sunset in Osmena Peak, be early.)

6:00AM – 10:30 AM Start of Island Hopping (P2500.00)

Snorkeling & cliff diving at Pescador Island
Swimming with the sea turtles
Sardine Run at Panagsama Beach

12:00PM – Canyoneering (P1200/6 pax)

3PM ETD Alegria to Osmena Peak

5PM ETA Osmena Peak (P50)

8PM ETD Dalaguete

930PM ETA Oslob

We then went to Dalaugete to hike Osmena Peak. You actually have an option to pass through Osmena Peak (1) you need to haggle a single motorcyle or pass through Liloan/Bato going to (2) Oslob by bus which is easier and cheaper

Osmena Peak- Entrance Fee: P30

Too late! We weren’t able to see the sun set in oPeak. After this, we separated our ways. I went back to Cebu City, while they headed to Oslob.

Day 3: Friday

6AM Whale shark watching (P600)
730AM Sumilon Island (P1500 w/ buffet for a daytour from 8AM – 4PM | P3000/boat for island hopping only)
1PM ETD Oslob
330PM ETA Dalaguete/Osmena Peak (P50)
6PM ETD Dalaguete (My friends went back to Osmena Peak on the 3rd day as we arrived in oPeak late on our 2nd day).
9PM ETA South Cebu Terminal
10PM Dinner at Azul-Tuslob Buwa

There’s another option that you can take if you will not take the Sumilon Island Tour.

830AM Tumalog Falls or Oslob Heritage Park or Cuartel
12 Oslob Main Town for Lunch
1PM ETD Oslob
3PM ETA Dalaguete/Osmena Peak

Here’s another sample itinerary for those who have limited time and want to squeeze these activities in 3 days.

If you really want to experience the whale shark watching, you need to be there as early as 5:30AM. Do not be late. It’s your discretion to visit Oslob.
